South West Rocks, NSW – 21 August 2024: Rise Projects is excited to provide an update on our residential community development, highlighting the substantial progress made over the past 6 to 8 weeks. This project is not only progressing rapidly but also stands out due to its unique community title structure.
“We’ve made considerable progress, with almost all services now installed underground,” said Daniel Pszczonka, Director of Rise Projects. “The installation of water, recycled water, fire services, and stormwater systems is nearly complete, with electrical and high-voltage works set to follow shortly.”
Key Updates:
- Completion of Bulk Earthworks: All bulk earthworks have been finalised, and material importation is complete. The focus has now shifted to preparing the townhouse pads for units 1 to 7, with final levelling and compaction underway.
- Stormwater Compliance: Our stormwater systems are now fully compliant, ensuring the site is well-prepared for the next phase of construction.
- Road and Infrastructure Improvements: Significant upgrades have been made along the site’s frontage, including the installation of new water and recycled water mains. These upgrades were necessary due to the widening of the road and the replacement of ageing infrastructure. “We’ve also relocated services such as light poles and communication cabling to make way for the expanded roadway and new footpaths,” Pszczonka explained.
- Retaining Walls and Hydraulic Services: The retaining walls are nearing completion, with the final concrete pour scheduled. The installation of recycled water, potable water, and fire services throughout the site is also in its final stages.
Community Title Development:
One of the standout features of this development is its community title structure. “All the roads and services within the site are owned by the community title, which means they are not the responsibility of the council or ratepayers,” Pszczonka emphasised. “This structure allows us to upgrade the quality of the services and roads, providing top-spec materials like travertine on crossings, cobblestones on roundabouts, and exposed aggregate footpaths.” This ensures that residents benefit from superior infrastructure without imposing ongoing costs on the wider community.
Moving Forward:
As part of the next steps, road pavements, including concrete roundabouts and bitumen road bases, will be laid. “We’re starting with the roundabouts and then moving onto the rest of the roads within the site,” Pszczonka noted. External roadworks will also begin, with significant upgrades planned to ensure seamless integration with the surrounding area.
“This development is truly unique in the Mid North Coast,” Pszczonka added. “The location, combined with the high standard of amenities and proximity to the beach, makes it a one-of-a-kind opportunity for residents. There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of the waves just a few hundred metres away.”
